Oak Grove Realty LLC opened our doors at 1128 Philadelphia St. in August of 2013. Owner/Operators Amy Provias and Kari DeStefano established “Oak Grove Realty” after 15 years working together as business partners in Rental Property Management. Together we’ve built our business from the ground up, totally hands-on, 24-7-365. There is no dedication comparable to that of independent business owners. Our personal commitment and responsibility toward providing quality service is as deep as a parent’s commitment to their child.
Kari DeStefano is Oak Grove Realty’s co-owner and Broker of Record. She is in charge of all Oak Grove’s business administration, office operations, legal compliance, & financial account management. Her earlier career history in bookkeeping, billing, & office management has provided a strong & solid foundation for managing and growing our business. Additionally, her experience co-founding a soccer region as well as working as its commissioner, coach, and all-around volunteer for 12 years provided great experience in administration. She has enjoyed helping to provide additional positive experiences for the children in her community.
Amy Provias is Founder and co-owner of our business, starting in 1999 with just one duplex to manage; and from that humble beginning, Amy is very proud to have grown her business to the current inventory of ~250 student & residential units; representing ~40 owner/clients. Kari joined her in 2003, and in 2013, together created Oak Grove Realty LLC. We now employ 2 additional full-time staff members. Amy and her husband also owned & operated two other independent contractor businesses: PRO Maintenance, to handle general property repairs & maintenance; and her husband’s Commercial Refrigeration business. After working an average 60-hour weeks for 15 years, Amy is happy to have twice the staff to handle the business, and to work more in the background: writing leases, advertising, reviewing applications and signing leases, and work out in the field a lot for hands-on property contact, & to keep an eye on maintenance and improvement goals for our properties.
Tammi Lovejoy is the Associate Broker and Office Manager of Oak Grove Realty. Tammi directs all aspects of customer service: communications, tours & scheduling; daily dispatch of contractors for tenant maintenance requests, and administration of property repairs and improvements. Tammi handles tenant accounts and rent collection; banking procedures; as well as oversight & coordination of nearly every other task and procedure our office requires. Tammi brought to our team a prior 11 years of experience in Property Management, in addition to her 21 years of business management for her husband’s independently owned and operated electrical services business.
Heather DeStefano is Oak Grove’s front-desk agent who receives you at our door, or first on the phone to answer your questions. Heather also is a friendly guide for your apartment Tours. Heather handles record-keeping and data entry, billing and payments, so is continually digging through our mountains of paperwork. Heather also shares our general independent entrepreneurial spirit: she moonlights as a costume and unique apparel designer and production artist….so, for your next event requiring a professional-level costume or unique attire, talk to Heather to set up a consultation!
